Sometimes the HoloLens doesn't gather enough data in its scan to correctly synchronize shared Holograms. This can occur when working within a blank space or when a wearer has not occupied and moved around a space for long enough to build scan detail. To improve shared hologram registration:
Improving Anchor Synchronization
Incorrect synchronization may be due to one headset having an older version of the shared Anchor (hologram position relative to the scan). To ensure both devices have the same Anchor:
- On one headset, make a Bloom gesture to exit Fologram. Fologram will automatically disconnect from the sharing service.
- Find the Fologram application window and re-enter. Fologram will attempt to reconnect and re-download the shared anchor from the sharing service.
