While you can place your Rhino construction plane within your physical environment using the Fologram adjust menu, accurate placement and registration to physical spaces is easiest using the Fologram image tracker.
Aligning a model of a room with the physical space
To align a Rhino model of a room with a physical space, place the Fologram image tracker in a location that can be easily matched in Rhino world space (e.g. one corner of a rectangular room). Move your Rhino model so that the matching corner of your room model is located at the Rhino construction plane. Then open the Fologram menu and go to Adjust -> Image Tracker. (Note that you cannot have mixed reality capture running as this tool needs to use the HoloLens camera). Look at the image tracer for a few moments until your holograms are updated with the new construction plane location.
Aligning a model of a part with a physical tool
The process for aligning a part with a tool can be exactly the same as the steps described above. To simplify registration of the holographic part with a physical tool, it may help to roughly place and register your printed image tracker on your work bench then move your model bit-by-bit in Rhino until you have your holographic part in the desired physical location.
