Connecting your Oculus Quest to WiFi

Your Oculus Quest must be connected to a Wifi network to work with Fologram. Fologram can run without internet access, but both the desktop PC running Fologram for Rhino/Grasshopper and the Quest must be connected to the same network.

Connecting to WiFi

If you are setting up your Quest out of the box, you will be prompted on the Oculus application on your mobile or tablet device to connect your headset to a Wifi network after pairing your headset to your device. Select a WiFi network and enter the password.

If you have already setup your Oculus Quest, you can change the Wifi network by navigating to Settings > WiFi in your headset.

Network considerations

Streaming large CAD models requires network bandwidth. Keep this in mind if connecting through a Wifi hotspot running on a mobile phone. A Wifi router running a modern protocol may improve latency.
